Muse in Question: Hi’raikairo
Also known as: Kairo
Current new Alias: Amelia Kairo Stark
Age: 239 in Human years. Appears to be mid twenties.
Preference: Unknown. Gravitates more to males.
Status: ? Was previously engaged to Tony Stark, then Bruce Banner. Wears her engagement ring that was given to her by Tony Stark again.
Birthday: July 7
Height: 5’8”/5’9” with her fox ears out
Weight: 157 lbs
Eye color: Emerald green
Hair (and length): Silver. Used to be past her thighs, then was cut to under her chin, has grown out considerably so it’s to her mid-back.
Personality: Very cold, quiet and collected. Rarely shows any emotion past smirking. If she is ever very angry, her lips purse and her ears lower against her head. If you ever get her to smile or laugh, good on you. She is very manipulative. She loves toying with people and rousing anything from them. She can be a flirt sometimes but it rarely happens. As of late, has changed considerably. Is warmer, kinder, more maternal. She is still wary of strangers and her temper tends to arise easier, but she is more likely to make friends rather than enemies now. She is likely to revert to her cruel self, however.
Race: Spirit fox.
Family: Yrua (mother; deceased), Maeru (father; deceased), Alexandra Catalina Stark (adoptive daughter), Jaq’arian Stark-Banner (son), Lia’ren Stark-Banner (daughter)
Powers: Has the ability to extract trapped souls, interact and use nature to her advantage, communicate with the paranormal (considering she isn’t human), transform into what humans classify as an Arctic fox, transform to look human, conjure illusions, transform to look like a hybrid of a human and a fox (in other words, fox ears and tail), and her claws. Her murderous side has been extracted, so it is no longer a danger.
Weaknesses: Allie and Tony. A way to rouse emotions from her is to mess with either of them, or any of her friends, or attempt to seal her in a room like a prison, make her feel she is not worthy to be with Tony, piss her off, or to force her to relive her childhood memories. She is also allergic to rabbits and scared of rats. A reminder of her separation from Tony and everything she’s done to him also is a good way to… emotionally cripple her. Any threat on her baby twins are also a way to bring out her emotions.
History: Around 200 years or so ago, Kairo was born to Yrua and Maeru, as a small silver kit, the only of her litter. She was the oldest; her only other sibling passed just minutes after birth, and she had no chance for any sort of bonding. This created a very strong love between her and her parents, who adored the little fox. Her family was situated in D`Iruretha Makier (The Other World) in a small village of other foxes. As all others, Kairo was born with the ghost of her tail, gaining it just moments after her birth. It is one of nine tails for her to gain.
It was a very peaceful life that Kairo lived with her parents. Turning around 16 years old, however, everything changed. Kairo’s mother, Yrua (897 at the time), was destined to be a very powerful creature on their side of the dimension: The Guardian. The Guardian was responsible for life and spirits, providing sanctuary in her Forest to souls and demons who seek it. In return for any and all forms of protection, The Guardian gave life to the nature around them.
Unfortunately, humans found The Other World and a small group of Hunters were founded and based in a darker part of the dimension. They killed any and all: spirits, demons and even The Guardian. The responsibility was soon left to Kairo’s mother, who trained for the rest of her life to become Guardian. Everything changed just as she underwent the final ceremony and the Hunters killed her and her father, kidnapping the children and the old and leaving them to rot in specially made prisons. Kairo was one of the prisoners and, like others, was tortured for information.
Training the best she could, Kairo managed to kill her torturer and escape the prison, escaping with several other children who fought with her. Attempting to return to the village, Kairo unfortunately learned of all their deaths. It was then everything changed for her. She buried most of the dead she could, abandoning the village. She had attempted to stay the way she was, but encountering all the bitterness and darker parts of The Other World changed her.
Slowly the once pure lands she lived in began drying and becoming barren. She rose to become one of the many feared creatures and was even seen as a demon, instead of a spirit fox. She spent 180 years of her life killing and thieving, even selling her body to strangers as long as she had money.
Slowly but surely, the fox became more and more tainted, outwitting the Hunters many times over. Eventually, she grew tired of the same sights in her lands and decided to travel to different dimensions. When she encountered the way to the Human dimension, she traveled into it, hoping to cause some havoc there as well.
It would have worked, of course, had it not been for a certain feline who followed her around. When Kairo found herself in a city, she encountered the cat when she stopped a butcher from killing it. Amazed, the cat hung around her, attracting plenty of danger about. When Kairo would try to shake it off, it clung on. Unsurprised to see that the feline can transform into a girl, Kairo kept trying to abandon it. Think Donkey and Shrek.
“Why are you so cold?” The feline could continue asking her until Kairo finally answered, “Because there is no point to any emotion. If you try to form any sort of bond with me, it will only be torn apart by death.”
When Kairo found herself embraced by Allie, something in her shifted. This creature was different, she, like Kairo, was left to fend for herself. They both faced the worst side of humans and were both left alone in a world of humans. Allie, too, was an orphan. Yet, Allie was not as bitter and cold as Kairo was. She was warm, happy, social. Something about Allie made Kairo want to care for her.
Soon, the two bonded close enough that Kairo became very protective of Allie, treating her like her own child. It was then Kairo knew what she had to do: start over anew… and try to complete something she knew she was destined to do. You see, when Kairo was a child in the prisons of the Hunters, she was notified that her mother’s responsibility was passed down to her and she had to be killed. It was her last torture and it was the torture she escaped from.
Now, here Kairo was attempting to redeem herself and taking care of a ‘child’. 200 years later.
In a recent fight between Kairo and Allie, however, everything changed. Kairo encountered Allie attempting to be more ‘human’ by attention school, and in this, Kairo hit Allie. The results weren’t happy, as Kairo abandoned Allie, leaving her in the custody of Tony Stark. It took some time, but they have finally made up and now Kairo stays with the two of them at Stark Tower.
It had been about a year or so into their relationship before Tony decided to propose to Kairo, to which she agreed. However, this did not go easily… Kairo and Tony often fought, and it tore them apart at times. There was one severe time where her murderous side took over and attempted to kill Tony, and put their relationship at risk. Kairo often felt as though she was losing the one thing she actually truly loved romantically for the first time in her entire life.
Kairo often fought with her friends as well, attempting to work through her trust issues, though it often backfired and she snapped more than once. It all came full circle once things finally settled down and Kairo and Tony decided to change things so they could relax. Although Kairo’s relationship finally began to mend, her family was still going through tough times, with Allie disappearing and rebelling, and soon her bullying situation coming to light, as well as her son growing distant with Kairo.
It wasn’t long before they all distanced themselves from each other and suddenly, Tony was gone.
Kairo continued on with planning for the wedding and getting ready for what she could during his disappearance, but as the days went on and he hadn’t returned, she started losing hope.
Even after he came back, it was apparent their union would not happen, and Kairo returned the wedding dress she purchased.
It wasn’t long before things started declining again and Kairo began to slip back into her former self, growing colder and sadder. She woke up often to an empty bedroom and began drinking to ease her emotional pain. It would never help and she eventually was sick of all the alcohol.. and attempted suicide.
Through alcohol poisoning, as well as her drug habit returning, she was pushed into a forced rehab before disappearing, knowing full-well her children were better off. She dropped the custody to Bruce Banner, a man who had easily worked his way into her life and became Kairo’s closest friend, and left.
She wasn’t gone for very long before she knew she was needed back home and was convinced to return, mending the relationship with her children the best she could.
And so, another spike in her life and through the enchantment of magic anonymous, Kairo wound up pregnant with Bruce’s child. It was a hard fact to accept at first, knowing the child could never be Tony’s, but if there was anybody she trusted, it was Bruce.
Unfortunately, it did not end well. Due to overreaction, Kairo believed Bruce to have left her. In the peak of her emotions, she thought he did to her what Tony had done and left to Cheryl’s, only to find that he committed suicide. Heartbroken, the fox retreated to a room and had not left it for a long while, too exhausted to deal with life otherwise.
Kairo gave birth to the twins December 21st. Named Jaq’arian and Lia’ren Banner-Stark, their names shortened to Jack and Lia. The two are half-human and half fox. They have dark hair like their father, green eyes like their mother, and fox ears and a tail each. Raising them alone has only strengthened Kairo, who has slowly returned to her old self if not with a better attitude for things. She has worked hard and is not going back now, focusing on her children.
She is currently in the process of searching for a good place to open her own flower shop.
Physical state: During her years as a prostitute, and drug habits, she sustained various scars on her body. Because she worked in a different world, creatures such as demons used her various times for whatever kink they wished for. She willfully complied so long as they never threatened her. She has her most severe scars along her back and hips, some on her arms [again from drug habit] and legs [also from the habit.] The only evidence of self harm are old claw marks on the sides of her neck. All these scars are hidden by her magic. Nobody but Tony and Allie have seen them.
Mental state: Kairo suffered from severe PTSD and depression with suicidal tendencies when she was much younger, undergoing therapy under the care of her now closest friend Kori. It took years before she recovered, relapsing in her depression every now and then. Her triggers are locked in small dark spaces [she is claustrophobic], being imprisoned, and abandonment.
